Battlefield Bad Company 2
I was a fan of the first Bad Company, and there's a second on the way out, due in March, of 2010...
They've certainly polished up some gameplay since the first Bad Company..
People die a lot quicker, your enviroment is 99% destructible...
Weapons have been polished, graphics have improved, no more grainy graphics...
You'll be able to fly blackhawk choppers in multiplayer, carrying 5 players...
1 pilot, 2 passengers, and 2 gunners for the miniguns. As for the passengers, they'll be able to fire their weapons off the chopper, which is a pretty neat feature if you ask me...
There's just soo much info, and I'll add more later, but for now... Here's some multiplayer gameplay.
Enjoy.
I also enjoy how there's "non scripted" chatter that you hear during the gameplay...

Make sure you watch all the way to the end...

The second one had promise. I'll have to play the demo first.

A few of us played the first one and I really liked it. I'm almost positive I'll be purchasing this one... The graphics look outstanding.

There's going to be a Beta release for Battlefield Bad company 2 for the PS3, starting November 19th, with the Beta for PC starting in December, and NO beta for the 360.
Claims are, there's already been beta testing done for the 360, and it's top notch, as for the PS3, there's been some issues, hence the reason for the beta being released, to see it'll run on the hardware. I'm jealous, oh yes...
When the betas are finished, bugs are fixed, settings tweaked, there will be a demo set for release, for all gaming platforms. PS3, PC, and Xbox 360.
Looks like I'll be waiting on the Demo, and i sure hope it's worth it!
Beta is just that... A beta.

I'm going to get into the BFBC2 beta for the PS3 just to see how the game plays. I'll report back here once it starts.

Here is the info if anyone wants to get into the Beta and on the Xbox Demo
Quote:
Starting 19 November 2009, PS3 gamers will be able to experience the unprecedented action, destruction, vehicular warfare, squad play and open sandbox environments that only Battlefield can deliver.
The Battlefield: Bad Company 2 multiplayer beta will feature the Arica Harbour map, where up to 24 players can compete in one of the game’s four intense multiplayer modes called Rush. This new map displays a superb balance of vehicle and infantry combat, as the American assault unit attacks the Russian army base with full force, advancing further through a beautiful desert town and towards the industrial area in a desperate attempt to overtake the Arica Harbour. Heavy vehicle warfare on the first bases gradually turns into an intense infantry fight as the level progresses, showcasing this best-in-class online war experience.
Gamers can get a taste of this incredibly intense action by a numbers of ways including reserving the game with participating retailers. While supplies last.
How do I get a Beta Key?
For North America - Beta Keys are limited in quantity and will be available through these select partners: Best Buy and Gamestop. Reserve your copy now in stores!
For Europe and Asia - Keep your eyes open for local opportunities!
Not a PS3 Owner?
Coming December, we will invite players to participate in a PC open beta. Then, early next year, all players worldwide will get to experience this premier shooter when we release a Battlefield: Bad Company 2 multiplayer DEMO on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

This is a game I will buy. I played the original from Gamefly then purchased it to keep. My favorite thing is the multiple things u can do and the fact that the environment is destructable. If only more games were that way.

I got to play the beta for a little bit last night. My initial thoughts:
If you liked the previous game then you'll love this game. Not much has changed as far as the gameplay. They improved and fixed alot of the problems the first game had (like sprinting and pausing to aim).
The graphics are vastly improved. I was a bit blown away when I first played the game.
The weapons feel great when you shoot them.
You are able to join a squad.
Overall, it's Battlefield at it's best. If you enjoyed the first Battlefield game then get ready to preorder this one.

Alright. I too was wicked excited for this and I feel extremely let down... I'm hoping its just the demo though...
The graphics SUCK in my opinion. I found a lot of issues. I think the character models are TERRIBLE looking. The video's Dice released looked amazing and I wasn't wowed ONCE during my experience with the demo.
Nobody would die for me unless I emptied my entire gun into them. Lag? Maybe? But c'mon...
I also have a big problem with movement. I was getting stuck on corners constantly and just felt "heavy" while I was playing. I felt like I was struggling just to smoothly control my guy.
Maybe I'm too new to the franchise. Battlefield 2 Modern Warfare was incredible. I LOVED it. Bad Company didn't really grab me as much as I would have liked. I never even bothered to beat the game. And the Bad Company 2 demo, felt even worse to me.
Maybe I just need to play it more and I'm missing something. But my first impressions to the new game aren't good.
You want a WOW moment? I jumped OVER a rocked yesterday in MW2 and killed the guy who shot it while still airborne. Awesome.
